Prelude and Fugue in C
I began this, my first organ work, many years ago as a Mass that I never completed. The prelude was to serve as the Kyrie. I finished it as a memorial to my grandfather just after his death. The fugue subject uses the beginning of a Gloria I began after my sister emerged from the surgery that removed a life-threatening tumor. I later arranged the two pieces as a single organ work.
